CFG Health Systems Featured in MAT Toolkit

Last year, CFG's MAT team at the Atlantic County Justice Facility, consisting of CFG Health Systems Staff, ACJF Staff, and John Brooks Recovery Centers Staff, participated in a National Survey and Best Practices program that was targeted at developing MAT programs within jails and prisons. The seamless integration of all three partners is highlighted in the "Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) for Opioid Use Disorder in Jails and Prisons: A Planning and Implementation Toolkit" developed by the National Council for Behavioral Health. Cheryl DuBose, CFG's Health Services Administrator at ACJF, will be looking into implementing some of the other best practices discussed in the toolkit. Together, CFG, ACJF and JBRC seek to end the opioid crisis in our communities and our community members behind the wall.
