Dr. Princess S. Gayles-Jones, DNP, MSN, BSN, RN, CCHP serves as a Regional Director for CFG Health Systems, LLC in correctional healthcare. Dr. Gayles-Jones has had 15 year of correctional health experience in hospital, jail and prison settings as staff nurse, Director of Nursing (DON) and now in her role as Regional Director. Dr. Gayles-Jones believes that her military experience as a field medic and EMT in the U.S. Army Black Hawk unit guided her nursing style with attention to details, passion and direct and safe patient care approaches. Dr. Gayles-Jones believes in CFG’s core values, missions, and its solid infrastructure and business support management staff that has years of experience in healthcare to guide healthcare practices in corrections. Dr. Gayles-Jones prides herself on mentoring and turning nursing learners into nursing leaders. Dr. Gayles-Jones also had the privilege of being a nurse educator at the college level and being a private voluntary mentor for other nurses pursuing their terminal degrees in nursing. Dr. Gayles-Jones graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) degree in 2006, she also graduated Summa cum laude from Holy Family University in 2018 with a Masters in Nursing Practice (MSN) and again Summa cum laude in 2020 with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP) with a concentration of nursing leadership and management and was also inducted into the Sigma Theta Tau, international honor society of nurses in 2018. Dr, Gayles-Jones also exemplified and solidified her passion for correctional healthcare by obtaining her certification as a correctional healthcare provider (CCHP) in 2018. Dr. Gayles-Jones has now gained significant experience in obtaining NCCHC and ACA accreditations for the sites she is overseeing and wants to take that newly gained experience with the help of her colleagues to keep CFG’s correctional facilities thriving.
